Hypothetical Questions:
What piece of knowledge written on paper, if transferred 500 years into the past would have the most effect? Would people act accordingly? If you choose a specific date you could do interesting things, if you want to give the wrong people old nuclear launch codes you could cause a lot of damage. But 500 years is a long time and I don’t think nuclear launch codes would have much effect?

Let’s say you can transfer the piece of paper anywhere, and you’ll have it written in the locally used language. But what written on a piece of paper would actually be brought into use? How would we convince the receiver of the letter?

What technology is useful without an industry? Or do we want to give the leader of nation detailed information on everything they need to develop guns and tanks? But how could you convince them with a little piece of paper?
Maybe by knowing secrets about their life, but how much can we trust our historical knowledge? Do we know enough about powerful figures to predict how they would act in this scenario? Maybe if we just enemy war plans pretending that the letter was from a traitor on the enemy side, that might work better…
